Hidden Desire
2026
Hidden Desire expresses our inner duality—our Other, that dialectical shadow self of longing and possibility. Under the mask of our daily existence our everyday life seeks a transformative desire for the Marvellous—a desire that transcends our ordinary lives. By releasing that desire, our alternative identity finds it true synchronicity revealing a universal illumination of connection to our shadow self-expressed through our lust, revelation and self-discovery.
Eight photographs were digitally cut, blended, warped, and painted including a female figure, repeated elements from a peony flower, a wire shape from the Houston Museum of Natural Science and a Hawaiian sky.
