Your Chariot Awaits was featured in Alabama Fresh Dirt contingency of the Echoes of Contemporary Surrealism taking place in Luxor/Saint-Cirq/Budapest/Alabama from 2022 – 2024. The use of the train represents the early iron and steel industry in Birmingham Alabama and is a motif often used in other Fresh Dirt work.
Nine photographs were digitally cut, blended, warped, and painted including a carousel cat head and a small train from the DeWitt Museum in Williamsburg Virginia, a historic automobile horn and lamp from the Louwman Museum in The Hague in The Netherlands, a clockface from the Victoria and Museum in London England and mountains from Picos de Europa Spain.
